Greeter is a simple program that you can start with 'SUSEgreeter'. Configuration and files are in /usr/share/kde4/apps/SUSEgreeter . Fast play (after long research) led to: http://paste.opensuse.org/29614857 This is just to show what is possible without large effort: * background.png light color was changed to black, * greet_section.html got all #FFFFFF instead of #000000 for text color, * blueprint.png has more contrast, * cr64-suse.png has only inverted color; a bit of 3D would be better, * button_cancel.png got red instead of gray; it is too simple. There are some variables in .html files in greeter configuration directory that I have no idea how to change as I still have no sources for 'SUSEgreeter' binary. Searching for sources was actually majority time spent on greeter. Next is: * to polish result, which I see as artwork task; backround.png should be rounded (for instance), suse icon cr-64-suse.png should be shinier. * figure out how one goes from Github to files, which I take on myself, * see how configurable is greeter, * see for some glitches in image what they are; light green vertical line top left and black line on top of background.png . They don't exist in original PNG file, but appear when greeter is running. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
