the new uyuni release has initial support for RHEL8/Centos8 clients, but is also planned to support RHEL8/Centos8 on the server side?
Well, what I can tell you is that there are no such plans at the moment from the SUSE core team at least, but we will be happy to assist anyone in the community who is willing and able to contribute in that direction.
Stefan, perhaps you should talk to Neal Gompa (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ngompa). He is working on a port and would surely be happy about help!
Another theoretical possibility would be to have Uyuni running in containers, thereby allowing any distro to be used on the server side.
One thing I personally do not know about that is: what would be the the community feeling about that?
