Hello, I changed from the propietary ATI driver to radeonhd last July, aprox. Everything works fine but not Pydance, who use Pygame, who use (I think) SDL. For example: http://pinux.info/fitxers/pydance2.png It's a Debian testing system, with this version: (II) Module radeonhd: vendor="AMD GPG" compiled for 1.6.0, module version = 1.2.5 Module class: X.Org Video Driver ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 5.0 Something appears when I execute pydance (executing_pydance.log). Also sending some part of Xorg.0.log (compressed). carles@pinux:~$ lspci |grep -i vga 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M52 [Mobility Radeon X1300] carles@pinux:~$ Maybe enabling/disabling some option in xorg.conf could fix it? Any other program/test that I can run for you? (other Pygame programs looks fine). It's an integrated ATI card in a Thinkpad T60. Thank you! -- Carles Pina i Estany http://pinux.info
