Hello folks
I have a new Dell Inspiron 546 Mini Tower that I'm trying to get Ubuntu
up and running on. It has an integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200 on the
motherboard, with VGA and HDMI outputs on the back of the case. I'm
trying to connect to a Westinghouse L2410NM monitor, which has VGA and
HDMI inputs.
When I use the VGA output, the driver works fine. Video modes and
monitor are autodetected. It looks a bit fuzzy, but that's probably
because I'm using a crappy VGA cable.
When I use the HDMI output, it looks like it detects the monitor and
resolution, but the picture is "green". There are green lines and
splotches all over the place. It looks like what old VGA 256-color
320x200 displays would look like if you got the palette wrong. I've
uploaded some pics of that give an idea of what I'm talking about:

I can Ctrl-Alt-F1 over to a text console and use the system normally,
and the text console looks fine. When I Alt-F7 back to X, the green
splotches are still there.
I'm using a radeonhd Xorg package compiled from a recent Git commit --
f7ad9380, if the package name is accurate. Kernel is the latest 2.6.28
from Ubuntu Jaunty.
I've attached the Xorg logs for both HDMI and VGA outputs. My xorg.conf
isn't horribly interesting, but I've attached it for completeness, too.
I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions anyone on the list might
have.
cheers
