I would suggesting fiddling with the AGP options in the bios if there are any.
All I can really do with my BIOS with respect to AGP is change the aperture size. I tried 4-256MB The radeonhd driver doesn't like anything less than 16MB and runs as though DRI is off. Either way this didn't work.
If that doesn't work, you can try the radeon driver (xf86-video-ati) and add: Option "BusType" "PCIE" to the device section of your config. That will enable the use of the on-board gart rather than the AGP gart.
Unfortunately that didn't work either. With the "ati" driver I get a corrupted mouse cursor and then I'm repeatedly kicked back into a login screen. I've attached the log for this case. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks, Louis
