hi, today, I tried different multi-head setups with radeonhd, and now I've got a few questions: I managed to run 2 displays, connected to 2 different graphics cards (ATI HD3450 + X1550), with radeonhd and Xinerama. But if I connect both displays to the same graphics card (no matter to which one), both displays always show the same ("clone mode"). - Is it possible, to make the 2 displays (connected to the same graphics card) display different parts of the desktop -- as usually archived with '... RightOf ...' in the ServerLayout-section of xorg.conf -- without using RandR? - Or is it possible to use 2 graphics cards with RandR? (I only found that http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/HowToRandR12 says that the RandR multi-board support is broken.) - Or is there any other way to use 3 or 4 displays (connected to 2 graphics cards) with radeonhd? regards, Roland -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
