Thus, I think this bug is easy to resolve, simply by adding the appropriate DVI connection to the rhd_id.c file in all cases for the T60p (perhaps also all units in the Lenovo T6* line, all of which can use this dock, but of course the video chips do vary).
Yes, my T60 (with ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 M52) has the same behavior: no DVI plug on the laptop itself, but can output to DVI via the "advanced mini-dock". I suspect that it's true of all laptops that can use this advanced mini-dock (R6x, T6x, Z6x). Indeed http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-61297 seems to agree, except that it says "Integrated graphics models support all docking functions except DVI-D", but that's only relevant for the intel driver, not for radeonhd.
