http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13620 ------- Comment #5 from martin.nowack@inf.tu-dresden.de 2007-12-12 11:58 PST ------- This sounds like my problem too ;) The problem for me and you too is, that your display is detected as a 18bit display. ==== snip ==== (II) RADEONHD(0): FUNCTION: RHDAtomBiosFunc (II) RADEONHD(0): FUNCTION: rhdAtomLvdsInfoQuery (II) RADEONHD(0): LVDS 24Bit: 0x0 (II) RADEONHD(0): FUNCTION: RHDAtomBiosFunc (II) RADEONHD(0): FUNCTION: rhdAtomLvdsInfoQuery (II) RADEONHD(0): LVDS FPDI: 0x490 (--) RADEONHD(0): Detected a 18bit dual link panel. ==== snip ==== last line ;) This is the first problem. The second problem is the dithering seams to be not correct for 18bit. I send a mail to the mailing list with a correcting patch. I think it looks better with this patch. But the patch doesn't solve the detection of the panel as 18bit. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
