Good work you'd done there. Driver works great on my card (01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M56P [Radeon Mobility X1600]) (Slackware linux, X.org 7.2, KDE 3.5.7)
So you are using the panel of your laptop.
I can't only change screen resolution. Is it possible with this driver to change resolution without restarting X server?
Not with the normal modesetting. It currently forces you to use the panels native resolution. This will change once we implement scaled and centered modes.
When AIGLX is planned to be supported?
We don't even have 2d acceleration, we only have modesetting. Luc Verhaegen. SUSE/Novell X Driver Developer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
