Tried it again, and here's the results: # ./rhd_conntest 01:00.0 Checking connectors on 0x71C4, 0x17AA, 0x2007 (@01:00:00): Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_DACA HotPlug: RHD_HPD_NONE DDC: RHD_DDC_2 RHD_DDC_3 LVDS Info: 18bits, dual link, LDI Panel found. Power Timing: 0x8CA, 0x00F, 0x08, 0x2D, 0x3E8 Macro: 0x0C720407, Clock Pattern: 0x0063 Both runs are with VGA connected. It seems that DDC_0 appeared a few seconds after running conntest the first time. Two more things: - With regards to connector tables: will these need to be done for every single R500/R600 card, or is this just temporary? - When I tried RadeonHD, it quit saying that there were no modes available. The Xorg log shows HSync rates of "31.5 - 31.5 kHz", "35.2 - 35.2 kHz", and "35.5 - 35.5 kHz", which are far below the rate required for my laptop's monitor (1600x1200 @ 60 Hz, which is ~75 kHz HSync). Can you have another go with the VGA connected?
On r5xx we often see the slave appear on both bus 0 and bus 3. We see only bus 3 here, so that kind of makes me assume that bus 0 for some reason didn't respond.
We just had Ruediger Oertel walk past with his macbook and tell us that, after a fresh boot, there is nothing on DDC, after a suspend to ram, there is something on DDC...
The fun starts here :)
