I have patched linux-2.5.70-bk12 with the packet-2.5.70 patch and rebuilt
the kernel.

I was trying to format a disk, and I got the following error:

bear:~# cdrwtool -d /dev/sr0 -q
using device /dev/sr0
2338KB internal buffer
setting write speed to 12x
Settings for /dev/sr0:
Fixed packets, size 32
Mode-2 disc

I'm going to do a quick setup of /dev/sr0. The disc is going to be blanked and formatted with one big track. All data on the device will be lost!! Press CTRL-C to cancel now.
ENTER to continue.

Initiating quick disc blank
Disc capacity is 276160 blocks (552320KB/539MB)

Command failed: 04 17 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - sense 00.f1.41
format disc: Illegal seek

I am using a Plextor 12x SCSI CD-RW.

The kernel log contains the following:

sr0: scsi3-mmc drive: 32x/32x writer cd/rw xa/form2 cdda tray
Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 4, lun 0
cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!
advansys: advansys_reset: board 0: SCSI bus reset started...
advansys: advansys_reset: board 0: SCSI bus reset successful.
scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery: host 0 channel 0 id 4 lun 0
sr0: CDROM not ready yet.

Thank you,
