What is this, which repeats every 5 minutes in the log:
NetworkManager[1581]: <info> connectivity: check for uri 'http://conncheck.opensuse.org' failed with 'Could not connect: Network is unreachable'
It is an URL use for testing if the connection works. With Firefox the connection makes, but the page is empty.
My network is obviously working perfectly fine (IPv4 only here). Google gives me an archived thread from last November (about 42.2RC2) which ends with Carlos being asked about having a proxy (he didn't, I don't either) and then nothing more after he answered that question.
Ah! :-) I see one instance in Jan 08, 2017, with "Too many DNS queries". That one was solved, a configuration issue. The one you say was in the factory mail list: "[opensuse-factory] What is NM test on conncheck.opensuse.org?" Whatever it was disappeared: I don't see the messages in the log now. I only see a related message on February. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" (Minas Tirith))
