I'm to trying to find out how to post a bug report for LibreOffice distro from Opensuse repository. It's a simple bug affecting page headers in reports created by Report Builder in Base.
I posted bug report 107215 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107215 on LibreOffice Bugzilla where other tests appear to confirm that this is a distro specific issue and does not affect their download packages, so they are no longer interested and recommended I report it to Opensuse.
So I posted bug report 1036830 https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1036830 on OpenSuse Bugzilla but as I am running OpenSuSe 13.2 (out of support), they won't fix on my report, but say that "this [package] is not provided by SUSE, packages are provided by community/openSUSE". I do not believe that this bug is OS related (and the other reports appear to confirm this).
As the bug is in the currently available LogoopenSUSE Build Service > Projects > LibreOffice:5.2 > libreoffice https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/LibreOffice:5.2/libreoffice (v5.2.6.2) for OpenSuSe 13.2 x64, I would like to report it so it can be fixed.
How can I do this?
Well, you simply can not report a bug for anything in 13.2, and that's it. Basically you need to upgrade to 42.2 and try there. In your report you say that the package is provided by SUSE. It is not, it was provided by openSUSE, a community. But also you are not using the official package, you are using a package from a build service repository. On some repos there is a link somewhere to report a bug, but in LibreOffice:5.2 I don't see it. So you would have to try to reproduce the bug using 42.2 and that repo, and if the bug is present, report against that repo for 42.2. Maybe that action would correct the problem for 13.2, but it could also happen that they would delete the 13.2 repository instead. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
