That's not so difficult - Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S-Plus for instance (for DVB-S, PCI-bus).

Modern PCIe cards are available too, I wouldn't expect any complications in Linux. If you need decoding and a smartcard slot, it can become difficult.
I have an haupage somewhere. I just looked, can't remember where it is. It is a pain to make it work in Linux. I abandoned the effort and bought a TV set for my work room instead, many years ago. And when those cards work, you have to manually configure the channels downloading a file. You can not simply click a button and have the card scan the air and find the stations on its own with no help, as TV sets do. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
