jdd, I think you have a good chance of getting rtl-8732BS to work with Leap, but you probably have to get the kernel module source from github and build it yourself. After adding nomodeset, my openSUSE 13.2 is running fine on the compute stick, and I'll now attempt to build the wifi driver.
I hope so, and as I have the same leap on my desktop, I paln to build the module there :-)
but I need some delay :-)
that said, may be this realtek is also used for other devices :-)
I think the device is actually an rtl8723bs. The driver source can be found on github. Just earlier, I cloned the source and built it on my Leap test desktop, worked just fine. I can't say if it works when the actual device is present, my Intel Compute Stick is still on 13.2. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.6°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
