Grip is the ripping tool I previously used.
I liked it, too. The last time I used it was on oS:13.1 about a year ago. It's in oS:Dropped [0], but maybe it still builds ... yes, at least mkubecek's branch does [1][2].

Have a nice day, Berny
I have had a lot of trouble with Linux audio since it became so complicated. I installed grip, loaded a CD but could not get it to play. This list of tracks shows correctly. But when I click on the play track button, disk spins up, track number an elapsed time appear, but no audio out. Kmix says that there "Nothing is playing audio". Any ideas on how to connect the output of grip to the rest of the audio chain?
