Everything is actually rather logical in LXDE...
Open PCManFM (the file manager) Browse to an html file that is on your local storage Right-click with the mouse on the html file Click on Properties Click on the arrows next to selection box next to the words "Open with" Click on Customize A box stating "Select an application to open "HTML document files" will open. Choose your poison Back out with the needed number of OK(s) Say "wow, that was easy!" ;-)
Ralph Hi Unfortunately this only works if you have an html file stored locally. How do I get chromium to open e.g. this link: www.google.com in this message? Thanks on my KDE/plasma, its systemsettings5/Personalisation/Applications, not sure if that helps. Presumably LXDE has a similar settings configuration program. OK. You send me down the right track. FTR its start
