I installed Tumbleweed 20150815 and could not find TT Fontmanagement anymore. In earlier versions of Tumbleweed I could install my old WordPerfect fonts from WP for Linux, which I appreciate very much for their design. Is it possible to install them in another way in Tumbleweed or Libre Office? Is it possible to have TT Fontmanagement in following versions again? Do you not have package yast2-fonts installed? Is fonts missing from your desktop settings configuration app (depends on which WM you use, kcontrol in KDE3, systemsettings in KDE4, systemsettings5 in KDE5, etc.)?
Access to extra TTF and/or OTF fonts is really rather simple. AFAIK, this works for other font types as well. If you want them available only personally, copy the individual font files into ~/.fonts/ (which you may need to create). If you want them available globally, copy them to /usr/local/share/fonts/ (which you may need to create). After copying, run 'fc-cache -fv', or reboot. From then on, all your apps should be able to access them. To remove any you don't want kept, delete the file(s) and run fc-cache -fv again.
I copied the WordPerfect fonts with File Manager Super User Mode, restarted and all worked perfect!! Thanks very much André den Oudsten
