Look at the windows drivers, they may contain the ppd's.
Thanks,
Unfortunately, I can't find any ppd there. I checked on a Windows machine where such a printer is installed. AFAIK, on Windows, ppd's are for Postscript-printers. The Zebra printer I want to install is not a Postscript printer. EPL1 and EPL2 are page-description languages of Eltron, now Zebra.
But it was a good suggestion, in the past I got ppd's from Windows when Linux didn't have them.
I wonder why also the Dymo label-printers are not there, although Ubuntu does have them. Anyone knows where Ubuntu keeps those ppd-files ? I searched for them, but I only find about 25 ppd's while you have a huge choice when installing a printer via the web-interface of cups.
Koenraad.
Have you tried using Google? Several hits/hints come up. I used "Zebra printer EPL1 PPD". I'll let you do the home work. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
