Still better might be installing 13.2 to the SSD. That will leave sdb and sdc as is, which can be reconfigured if and when desired post-installation, plus giving better OS performance.
I think that is a VERY GOOD IDEA.
I think it is a good idea not only for the reasons Felix says but because it eliminates some of the complexity involved in the failing install. KISS.
Agreed. This is what I attempted in the first place. The boot hangs on the file system check of the SSD.
There is no encryptation nor LVM.
I am trying to keep it simple, though I seemed to have failed at that!
Unless you've tried again ... the fact that your report included an error that involved the mapper ... KISS would involve disconnecting all except the SSD. Eliminate all extraneous variable and factors. Heck, you could try installing on another machine with JUST the SSD then putting the SSD on the first machine and seeing it boot there. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
