All,
I have a MP4 that plays fine in Kaffiene (openSUSE 13.2 + Packman).
I'd like to be able to pull a snippet out of the middle. Basically just crop of the start and end.
Is there something in openSUSE and/or Packman to do that?
Thanks Greg -- Greg Freemyer Hi Greg,
If I may I'd like to add a few options to the already extensive list of options that people gave you here. If you want to edit video's from the CLI I recommend FFmpeg. It has everything you need and a huge lot more. https://www.ffmpeg.org More on the professional side, there are Lightworks: http://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_lwks&view=download&Itemid=206&tab=1 If you have used editing programs before on other platforms, this might feel a bit weird in the beginning. And the most professional is Nuke Studio: https://www.thefoundry.co.uk/products/nuke/non-commercial/ There's a free version for non commercial use. For Linux this is the best option there is. I use this on a daily basis myself. I have used all three on OpenSUSE 13 and haven't run into any problems so far... greets Arno -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
