Having /var as part of the RootFS BtrFS is crazy! It means your hourly snapshots will be HUGE!
I think that you can adjust the periodicity (and the purging) separately for /var. Adjusting it correctly and it shouldn't be a problem.
Looking at the config ... if /var is part of rootFS, a subvolume or not, .... as opposed to being a separately implemented file system as in /dev/mapper/vgmain-vVar on /var type btrfs (rw,relatime,space_cache) I wonder how. Do you have to have a separate config file for each subvolme or mounted FS you want to snapshot? I've tried creating /etc/snapper/configs/var but the yas2 module error-exits. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
