That's a loaded argument. You are assuming that using a separate /boot and /tmp is 'unsafe'. That is not the case. The default isn't, in opinion, so much as default as 'entries at the top of the list of alternatives'. The way that pull-down lists work. As I say, there are simple, easy precautions. Not, as you 'putting words in my mouth' makes out, "unsafe".
