Isn't EWS just a web wrapper around Exchange? Exchange servers are still at the bottom of that as far as I can tell. And Kmail can talk to Exchange servers.

As far I understand, it's a SOAP specification to talk to Exchange using HTTP. How is that?, in my case IMAP is not available and would like to avoid middleware to do the conversion...
