How can I get a list of all tmpfs devices (or directories) ?
Another way:
findmnt -t tmpfs
Another valuable information is the major/minor device number by which you can see which of these mounts belong to the same tmpfs file system: $ findmnt -t tmpfs --output SOURCE,MAJ:MIN,TARGET SOURCE MAJ:MIN TARGET tmpfs 0:17 /sys/fs/cgroup tmpfs 0:15 /dev/shm tmpfs 0:16 /run tmpfs[/lock] 0:16 /var/lock tmpfs 0:16 /var/run ... in this case /run and /var/lock are "bind"-mounted, and /var/lock is bind-mounted to /run/lock. BTW: another way of getting all tmpfs: $ df -t tmpfs Have a nice day, Berny -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
