Main problem I am facing recently is, sharing of printer between three systems.
No such problem for me. Printers I buy have ethernet ports, and connect to the network, not any puter. It doesn't matter what system(s) is/are booted, printing is always possible unless printer is down or out of toner or paper.
I'll do a +1 with Felix.
I recommend that the next time you replace your printer buy a network printer. We did several years ago and have never regretted it. We went with a direct connect rather than a wireless. Plug in a Cat-5, the power supply, cartridge(s) and paper. We only buy HP printers so in Linux I use the HPLIP drivers and CUPS. For Windows systems you have to install the software that comes with the printer. Couple minutes of setup. After that everything just works. If we have visitors and they need to print something it's not a problem to let them have access.
I am not a guru here, but will chime in. Have recently returned to HP printer and works much better than my Epson and previous Brothers'. Only issue with HPLIP has been than once a file is sent to print, and shows to print only one copy, once printed the file does not leave the queue but continues to print indefinitely until I either run out of paper or open HPLIP, go to Printer Contol, and click Cancel Job. Now I just keep HPLIP open in a desktop and go to it so soon as the print is started/completed. Annoying, but much better than previous issues with Brother printers.

I think you got some other issue. I have never had any issue like that [ knock wood ]. -- A cat is a puzzle with no solution. Cats are tiny little women in fur coats.
