That is there is a hanging print command, since the printer is turned off. I checked the print manager before and I could not find pending jobs. This pending job belongs to another user, and it is not shown on the list of my print manager.
lpq -a
If you have only one printer, then lprm ought to clear it. If you have more than one, you'll have to give the name, as it exists in the machine. For example, on my machine, I might have to do lprm HP-LaserJet_2200-2 and that would clear the print queue for that printer.
