I told you so. However, what you have to do is dump your idea that you should use pop3. NO! use imap. With imap, the remote trash can at gmail is shown as a folder on your mail client (thunderbird), and you can see it, erase the contents, whatever, without using the webmail client. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E.
