Hello List
- perhaps, not always, are the motives to ensure the smooth-running of mission-critical software
- perhaps, sometimes, the motive may be 'fear' of the unknown, when up-grading to a newer version
Right now a lot of Evergreen users are non-systemd users. 11.4 was the last openSUSE release without systemd. 11.4 will be supported by evergreen for a another year I think, so sticking with it is a reasonable option for a lot of people. http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Evergreen#Supported_distributions fyi: strangely, a lot of very experienced linux hands are anti-systemd, so you may find a bunch of very experienced people using what would normally be an out of date distro.
