Upstream added "systemctl list-dependencies" recently. The patch while not one-liner is self-contained and does not touch core, only systemctl itself. There are good chances maintainer will agree to accept backport. You know how to use OBS and bugziglla, do not you?
Actually, I think you've all made it pretty clear you care for no opinion but your own. There have been numerous presentations of the shortcomings of the decisions you've forced on those who choose to use OpenSUSE. The choices are even if well intentioned, poorly thought out and executed, if verbosely described. The documentation is even worse, which was tolerable when there was a common basis of understanding of principals. I think it may well be time to fork OpenSUSE, take what we think is good and discard the garbage you've forced in; Making it a cross between the worst of Windows, OS X and VMS. And OBS is the key to that fork. It's gonna be a ton of work to do, but to get shut of your arrogance... It's well worth it. Let's face it, Patrick Volkerding nearly singlehandly keeps Slackware alive. I suspect there are enough of us who would prefer and up to date distribution without the garbage and attitude. Linda, you've very eloquently, and carefully explained what's wrong with the approach. Much better than I could.
