Help me understand something here... why are the Nvidia binaries hosted at download.nvidia.com? openSUSE is the only distro that I can find (so far, other than possibly FreeBSD and Solaris) that has the Nvidia binaries hosted outside the main/extra repositories. It's not a problem that they are on nvidia.com... but it seems odd that openSUSE is the only distro to do so. Why are "we" different than the rest in this regard?
