Hi. I´m configuring a web cluster that will be managed by Pacemaker and ldirectord. So far I was able to configure almost all the needed things. Ldirectord will be started on the hosts 172.31.0.192 or 172.31.0.193 and the active one will be making access to a test page. What I´m looking for is to avoid those access of being logged. I found this article that says you can avoid some access log http://www.electrictoolbox.com/apache-stop-logging-internal-dummy-connection... First of all I thought about editing the file /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/global.conf and put ther the following statements SetEnvIf Remote_Addr "172\.31\.0\.192" dontlog CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access_log combined env=!dontlog but I figured out that this file is rewrited every time apache starts, so i tryed to modfy the file /etc/sysconfig/apache2 and insert the modification there. I added/changed the lines below: SetEnvIf Remote_Addr "172\.31\.0\.192" dontlog APACHE_ACCESS_LOG="/var/log/apache2/access_log combined env=!dontlog" Unfortunately it didnt work out, the apache do not start and the only things I get is, the file /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/global.conf is changed to: # # Files in this directory are created at apache start time by /usr/sbin/rcapache2 # Do not edit them! # # see /etc/sysconfig/apache2 ServerSignature on UseCanonicalName off ServerTokens OS LogLevel warn CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access_log combined CustomLog env=!dontlog And I got this message on the log: Sep 4 21:56:06 apolo start_apache2[14200]: Syntax error on line 13 of /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/global.conf: Sep 4 21:56:06 apolo start_apache2[14200]: CustomLog takes two or three arguments, a file name, a custom log format string or format name, and an optional "env=" clause (see docs) Sep 4 21:56:06 apolo systemd[1]: apache2.service: control process exited, code=exited status=1 Sep 4 21:56:06 apolo systemd[1]: Unit apache2.service entered failed state. Please, can someone tell me how can I do this configuration on OpenSuse?
