The 295.53 did build for me against 3.4 kernel.
The 302.07 beta has been around since the beginning of this month at least, I downloaded it on the 2nd) so it's a bit "long in the tooth", so to speak :-) . While it worked perfectly for me under 3.3.x I thought I would give it a miss with the 3.4 kernel - just as well I see, so thanks for finding this out :-) .
