like all distros i've experienced, or rather _everything_ i've experienced, new things seem difficult in the beginning, until you get the hang of it.
re. the community here, it's one of the main reasons for me to stick to openSUSE. people aren't _always_ friendly (who is?), sometimes you catch someone at the wrong moment, or old best enemies have a socking match once in a while. but one can always rely on expert advise and solutions; the number of real experts here and in other opensuse mailing lists is incredible. just by hanging around and paying attention to problems that might affect you sooner or later, you'll know solutions to most of them before they.
