Hello, I was looking for some way to install a OpenSuSE 12.1 to a USB harddisk. I found websites that describe installation to USB sticks but they all need some Windows tools (e.g. this one http://www.lidux.de/opensuse-usb-stick-installieren-persistent-windows/ ) I am looking for some method to do this without windows. Something like: 1) take downloaded OpenSuSE 12.1 ISO, burn to DVD 2) attach USB disk to computer 3) boot computer from DVD 4) select USB disk as installation location 5) finish installation (other Linux installation on builtin HDD is not touched. 6) reboot, select if you want to use GRUB from USB disk or GRUB from internal harddisk. 7) boot installation from USB disk or from builtin HDD 8) change settings and so on 9) save settings and other installations on e.g. USB disk Thanks in advance -- NEU: FreePhone 3-fach-Flat mit kostenlosem Smartphone!
