Hi,
I am using openSUSE 11.4 with KDE desktop (default). Now from Yast, I installed two other desktops - GNOME and XFCE. The GNOME version is 2.32 to which I can login. But in the GNOME as well as XFCE desktops, I am not getting any login sounds. I am able to play the songs, but the login sound is not coming. I checked in GNOME -> Menu -> Control Center -> Sound but not able to resolve the issue.
Thanks.
In a terminal, as user, run 'gnome-control-center &' and check under the "Startup Programs" tab that the "GNOME Login Sound" checkbox is enabled. hth & regards, Carl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
