openSUSE v 12.1 64Bit on an AMD cpu.
I was wondering if anyone has noticed instability in the KDE Desktop? I have found that after two or three hours that the screen develops flickering and that the task manager will vanish from the screen until I move the cursor to its' position Always Visible has been selected). This situation is cured by logging out of the desktop and logging back in.
I have been running SuSE and openSUSE for some years not and have never had so many problems with a Linux distribution. This behavior is most annoying.
No, KDE works properly for me. You might want to post more information about your computer, maybe the driver you´re using, KDE version, kernel version (if needed for driver information).
I also suggest you to file a bug and ask on the kde-userlist (both openSUSE and upstream.)
hope this helps,

Hm, seems to be the same processor as on my notebook, and my notebook is working fine. Maybe you should file a bug at bugzilla.novell.com. good luck, -- kind regards, -o) German Wiki Team Kim Leyendecker /\\ Documentation& marketing www.opensuse.org _\_v leyendecker@opensuse.org ===================================================== my GPG Key: 664265369547B825 | IRC: k-d-l Twitter: kim_d_ley | Wiki-Username: openLHAG openSUSE - Linux for open minds - get it free today! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
