Since one of my important service providers upgraded their GUI at their web site and now it requires MS Silverlight add-on to be viewed. The option for Linux users seem to be installing Novell Moonlight add-on instead. On my Ubuntu 11.10 machine, I followed a way around posted at ask ubuntu to install it into Firefox8 and it's working http://askubuntu.com/questions/80293/moonlight-extension-not-working-with-fi... However, when I tried the same way on OpenSuSE 12.1 machine, I still got "not compatible with Firefox 8" error on the Firefox 8. Can anyone tell me why? I tweaked the installation file to allow installation up to v9 so I thought the platform didn't matter. My guess is some config on both Firefoxes are different but I don't know where to look at. Also if anyone knows other alternatives of Silverlight, please let me know. Toshi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
