Hi.
I want to install a program, that I cannot find in .RPM.
It's in the .TAR format. This happens when running make:
make g++ usburn.c programmer_usb.c database.c hexfile.c calibration.c firmware.c test.c -m32 -I/usr/local/include -L. -lnsl -lm -lc -L/usr/local/lib -lusb -o usburn /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.5/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.5/../../../libusb.so when searching for -lusb /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.5/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libusb.so when searching for -lusb /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.5/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lusb collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
How to solve the issue ? Hej Erik
it looks like you need to install a 32-bit libusb. The 64bit version was skipped due to not being compatible.

Hej Per :-) Thanks for your input here. 32-libusb is the installed version. I removed -m32 in the makefile, and it made the trick. Thanks also to you other fellows, that went in here with infos. venlig hilsen Erik -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
