[opensuse] Bugzilla 645986 hwinfo --framebuffer OpenSuse 11.3

Hi, OpenSuse 11.3 had a problem with a kernel upgrade, hwinfo and ATI video cards (bug # 645986) Does anyone know if 11.4 has the same hwinfo --framebuffer problem? Bugzilla indicates no activity (that I could see) on this one for 11.3. I'd like to get an updated / updatable kernel. If there's a work around and I missed it, I'd appreciate someone letting me know where I can find it.
