It looks like kbluetooth was using this library.
Were you using kbluetooth with KDE < 4.6 then upgraded to 4.6?
If so this is the root of your problem, not turning on airplane mode. In any case we should make BlueDevil obsolete KBluetooth so it is replaced on upgrade.

Yes, I had been using Kbluetooth over an upgrade to 4.6, and until yesterday it was happy to run. I suspect it was in memory and continued running till the last link to something it needed was broken, the file got cleaned off the disk and then it was toast. Oddly, this machine never suggested I should install BlueDevil, and I stumbled upon it quite by accident while trashing around for a solution.
