hello everyone! Is there a project like wikipedia but for man pages or info pages? If so, where is it? If not... do you think it would be a good idea for the openSUSE community to start/foster such a project?

Personally NO but then i cant stand this Wiki idea thing never found it anything like friendly or useable maybe thats just me but i would kill Wiki off at a stroke ..
It is a matter of the right tool for the right job. Web-based collaboration can be useful in some tasks. The 'problem' with a wiki page for this type of information is that some user's opinion on how a program runs may not in fact be how it is. Program documentation that is a user's opinion is of questionable use. The documentation must come from the code developers. Of course, the documentation may be improved by user input. Requests for clarifications or examples. But that could only be ancillary to the real documentation.
