I'm having a problem with my mouse. I've got a Dell Studio 1745 which has a built-in touchpad which I turn off in desktop config. I also have a Logitech cordless mouse working through a 4-port USB hub connected to one of the two USB ports on the laptop. The problem seems to be that the mouse looses focus after a while, that is, the cursor still moves but the buttons are not functioning. So far I have tried using two other corded mice and plugging directly into the USB port on the laptop without the USB hub but the behaviour continues. This problem first displayed shortly after loading OS 11.3 from DVD. It had not happened during the factory builds or under OS 11.2. When the mouse buttons stop working, the entire desktop seems to lose focus with no keyboard activity having any effect. If I bang the mouse around a bit and keep pushing buttons the focus seems to return for a while but returns. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to test this situation? If ned be, I could reload 11.2 to see what happens.
