Nothing new. I use that at least since SuSE 6.2 in 1999. It's a question of whether the xterm grabs the 'page up/down' keys or if it passes them to the pager, i.e. usually "less". I did notice that 11.2 is configured, that PgUp/Dn scrolls the xterm buffer, and does not pass the keys on to the app. Here, I can use shift to scroll the xterm's output (like the Linux tty). -dnh -- In the old days, it was very simple: "You shoot us, we shoot you."
