That's where the confusion on my end is. If yast is doing some type of: rpm -U pkg1 pkg2 pkg3 pkg4 ... pkg2756 then I agree I have to wait until 2756 is done, but if yast is doing something like: for i in $( < longlist); do rpm -U $i done then if pkg I gets stuck and I have to download it again, while that operation is pending, I should be able to sneak in the kernel.
