Ummm.. that is.. it's that way in 4.4.... is Stan using 4.3.5? Is it different there?
This is kde 4.3.5, because that's what the DVD installed. I have not had the time to venture into far-reaching upgrades, because I am spending an enormous amount of time on simply trying to get things to be usable.
Well, after long and unsuccessful searches in all the kmail menus and options , I discovered inadvertently five small icons (or widgets.. don't know ! ) at the end of the line just above the message list. One of them opens a dialog box allowing you to chose between 10 various sort options. Another one lets you chose among 8 possible aggregation modes. I am using kde 4.3.5 with kmail 1.12.4 maybe it could help
Aha! So it appears. Lurking there inobtrusively. They will get some attention tomorrow. Thanks much. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
