Hi,
"Years" ago I was subscribed to the Apparmor-general mail list, which has no traffic for months.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I got an email reporting that I have been automatically subscribed to "apparmor@lists.ubuntu.com":
Here is the new home of the AppArmor mailing list. You've been subscribed here since you were subscribed at the old list. In the interests of consolidation, the old -general and -dev lists have been merged. Welcome to the AppArmor@lists.ubuntu.com mailing list!
Has the (old Novell's) apparmour project moved to Ubuntu, then? (I know the main dev(s) "went" out of Novell long ago)
The last developer was laid off by Novell last year and has moved to Ubuntu in the meantime. They have kinda picked up the kernel development of Apparmor.
Has anybody else got this notice, or is it some kind of weird "quasi-spam"?
No, it is genuine. You were just subscribed there.
And... what will happen to Yast's support of AA, will it be dropped?
