put open office back in and it puts gsreamer back in well it's still working
Mmmm... my guess is that there should be a symlink somewhere in firefox directory to the gstreamer plugin. Remove that one instead. I can't look it up now, this computer runs 11.0.
Or someone finds out why gstreamer crashes.

< snip > I'm using FF 3.6.4 on openSUSE 11.3-M6 and FF 3.6.2 on OS 11.2. Neither have any addon for gstreamer nor could I find any links or reference to it on either system. Gstreamer is being used by other programs including Thunderbird so it seems that FF doesn't need it.
