*/Wondering about the controls in the standard KDE mixer, which by default is in the KDE panel. Trying to setup Skype, and there is a "digital" control, which seems (definitely!) to have an effect, but I am not using any digital hardware (apart from the obvious..) just using standard analog speakers. This control, if all the way to the bottom, cancels any input from the mic, and all the way 'up' I get heaps of 'digital' sounding interference.... What does this do...?
