What's currently the best resource for searching for printers?
I've found http://www.openprinting.org/printers/ but it seems that the only way to search is to first select a manufacturer. I want to choose features and see what different manufacturers have to offer.
The opposite. Find a printer that meets your criteria and search openprinting.org to see what linux support is provided. *Most* Epson and HP printers are supported and Lexmark advertises that they now support linux. Note that *many* HP printers may not appear on the openprinting list but are supported via the package hplip. I guess you would need to check that package for supported HP printers. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
